National Fish and Wildlife Foundation Internship
TMCF interns will gain valuable professional development experience in environmental/conservation and non-profit work. Interns will work on challenging projects that encourage students to think critically, solve challenging problems, and develop skills and walk away with tangible outcomes to immediately apply to their professional growth. Applicants must be juniors, seniors, recent graduates, or a graduate student at an HBCU with a GPA of 3.0 or higher, and at least 17 years old.

Ernest F. Hollings Undergraduate Scholarship
The Hollings Scholarship Program provides successful undergraduate applicants with awards that include academic assistance for two years of full-time study and a 10-week, full-time paid internship at a NOAA facility during the summer. The internship between the first and second years of the award provides the scholars with hands-on, practical experience in NOAA-related science, research, technology, policy, management, and education activities. Applicants must be currently enrolled or accepted at an accredited college or university within the United States or U.S. territories; 2nd or 3rd year student, community college or transfer with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

The Northern Gulf of Alaska (NGA) Long Term Ecological Research REU programs is open to undergraduate students who are interested in interdisciplinary oceanographic research. The research team investigates the features, mechanisms, and processes that support NGA ecosystem production and foster its resilience. Scientists conduct field work, including ship-based experiments, run computer models of the ocean, and communicate findings to students and the public through education and outreach partners.
